Focus:
The Alpha Academy promotes continual involvement and communication to assist youth in becoming better citizens within their communities. The Alpha Academy’s primary focus is encouraging young men to pursue post-secondary education.

Character Building, Workshops, Recitations, & Community Service 
The course provides lessons, activities, & events that enable young men in 6th-12th grade to transition from childhood to adulthood.

Some Examples of topics:

• Black History  

• The Voting Process (why voting is important)

• Native American Heritage

• ​Political Awareness (who is my local representative and what do they do)

• A Day of Games

• Poetry (writing your poem)

• How to treat your date (lessons about responsibility & Respect)

• Art Party 

• Dress for Sucess 

• Life after High School 

• Floral Design workshop (creating a floral bouquet for Mom)
